A gem! Nice atmosphere, quiet and elegant like a small jewel. Food was best we had eaten in 5 days visit to Sicily.  Wonderful saffron infused fish soup, pasta with pork and veal a nice break from  regional seafood. Highly recommend.  Thanks for great evening

The staff was very attentive and accommodating as we added 2 additional people. They made a larger table so we could all sit together. The food was amazing with beautiful presentation. The chef personally came out after dinner to greet us and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

gourmet32, this is actually the house number is 32, the house number here is very eye-catching, the door also posted a menu, but we found that this store is not open every day in winter, we went on Monday, but there is no business, anyway, the store is very beautiful!

Our waiter was meraviglioso!! Very attentive and sweet! Works hard! The food is incredible! The caves below are worth a peek. An unbelievable story and fascinating to see. Grazie mille!

Cute family run restaurant on a side street had yummy bruschetta, great pizza, and aperol spritz! After sight seeing around Taormina, it was nice to have a bit of reprieve at Shelter. Staff was friendly and spoke english!

It is not surprising there were only 2 other tables taken. The glittery white decor is somehow cold, which sums up our experience of Competent but not friendly service. A bad feeling exacerbated by a &euro;17  cover charge that brought us no extras other than a miserly portion of oil to compliment the unexceptional bread - and no plate to eat it from

Lovely experience, really nice service. Food and wine were delicious. We arrived for a late dinner and we were the only table at the time - the staff waited for us, which I appreciated, since it was a late hour and we were in need of a good meal!

What an occasion! The owner was a loud and entertaining gentleman who kept us in thrall all evening. We really enjoyed ourselves.
